Exterior Light Fixture Mount

A building in San Francisco needed new exterior fixtures but wanted to avoid roof penetrations. The parapet was available for mounting, yet the angle required greater adjustability. Using off-the-shelf materials, I designed a modular racking system that could be assembled on-site. To help the customer visualize the installation, I provided detailed renderings.

Fantasy Board Game

This project is still in development and has evolved through multiple iterations as gameplay has progressed. The board design is nearing its final form, and the card graphics continue to improve alongside advancements in AI image-to-image tools. The last major piece to dial in is balancing monster difficulty with player progression to ensure a smooth and engaging experience.

Directions Modifications

The manufacturer I worked for provided initial instructions for installing their charger. After completing several installations, it became clear that the lifting instructions needed improvement. I took elements from the existing and modified the installation graphics to align with the current style while also updating the instructions in the new installation manual.

Modeling Existing Item for 3D Printing

A building engineer determined that 3D printing the small vents when they broke was more cost-effective than ordering a custom injection-molded vent from the manufacturer. They hired me to model the vent and produce a printable STL file.

AI Experimenting Sketch to Animation

Using an old color doodle, I utilized mage.space to transform my drawing into an animation in less than an hour. With some assistance from Copilot to refine my prompt and a bit of Photoshop to add bipedal features and cockpit shadows, I was able to enhance the creation. I enjoy exploring new tools to leverage technology and push the limits of my usual skillset.

AI Experimenting Sketch to Render

I’ve been experimenting with AI to transform some lamp and fixture design doodles into realistic renderings. The technology is advancing rapidly, and while this approach currently serves as a partial workflow for future prototyping, its potential is exciting. Today, rendering helps visualize concepts, but soon, you’ll be able to take that render and feed it into AI to generate a printable STL file, or another model-ready format. This would allow designers to quickly determine materials and create patterns for manufacturing, streamlining the entire design-to-production process.
